The Motive Dynamic Service Activator (DSA) from Alcatel-Lucent lets service providers activate complex business and residential services over traditional telco/IT technology, as well as emerging technologies such as network functions virtualization (NFV), software-defined networking (SDN), and cloud. Assigned services are activated by orchestrating the steps needed to deliver and operate specific services in multi-domain and multi-vendor networks.
Integration with our Motive Service and Unified Resource Engine (SURE) enables DSA to manage inventory levels when services are activated on the network. Alternatively, DSA can be easily integrated with existing OSS systems through open APIs. Having flexible, open APIs—in addition to rules-based configurations—helps mitigate network and software integration requirements.
