The HEM500 uses the TE500 series drifter. With the different configurations of the TE500 you can install:

• 30mm to 52mm Injection Anchors (IBO bars)
• Blast holes up to 3 1/2” in production
• DX geothermal wells, 3” with depths to 100’
• Rock Bolting and Soil Nails-Tiebacks

HEM500 drill package includes the following items:

• HEM excavator mounting bracket
• or feed system, up to 14.5’ drill travel
• TE500 hydraulic percussion drill
• JB779 nitrogen charging kit TE300 accumulators
• EH30920 radio controls
• Parts and Service manual

Optional Equipment:

• TE500DR high torque version of TE500
• simple hydraulic foot clamp
• hydraulic centralizer
• TE30851 water misting system (pneumatic powered)
• Hydraulic oil cooler

System Requirements:

• Machine must be plumbed with auxiliary hammer kit
• HEM500 requires 40 GPM @ 2250 PSI
• HEM500DR requires 47 GPM @ 2250 PSI
• Best on 20 ton excavators
• Flushing medium to clear holes (air or water)
• Auxiliary hydraulic cooler recomended for production drilling
