Helicopter BearingsRexnord® Shafer® and Rexlon® bearings are used in the main and tail rotor linkages,and provide long life under extreme load/motion environments. Shafer bearings can be relubricated to prolong bearing life and reduce costly bearing change-out.Rexlon molded liner bearings provide long life and low wear rates under high vibratory load and small motion conditions.

Helicopter pitch links are designed for flight control applications. They use a variety of configurations, and include the following ideal features:• Self-lubricated• Designed for use in oscillatory high-speed motion• Designed for use in systems requiring low friction and low wear• Self-lubricated cartridge or integral design for weight and envelop reduction

Helicopter Transmission Mounts and Helicopter Engine MountsMount designs are used to isolate radial motion to a concentrated part of the helicopter. These are often Slotted Entry, greased (or self-lubricated), sealed bearings. Helicopter bearing mounts are usually subjected to high vibration and dithering motion.
