Bajo La Alumbrera Mine

Skanska LA has executed the services of EPCM/EPC in partnership with FluorDaniel Inc. The project comprised the construction of the necessary infrastructure installations for the exploitation of the gold and cooper field “Bajola Alumbrera”.The EPC works that had been executed in the mine are the following: the primary milling buildings, the transport conveyors (1,800 m long), the milling building (SAG and Ball Mill, flotation buldingand foundry ovens), the lime Plant, the truck shop, offices building, laboratory and warehouses, 30 Km. of access roads and draining systems, thelanding strip (1,935 m), the permanent camp (600 people), the project construction camp (4,000 people), the water treatment plant, the effluents treatment plant, the transmissionlines of internal Power, the water pipeline and the fresh water dam.
