UQ Schoolarships

All students from the last year in an undergraduate from civil, environmental chemical, mining, metallurgical, geology engineering as well as science and social-science related to the mining industry can apply to the UCN UQ scholarships.

This scholarship is an internship 8 to 10 weeks in length (starting usually in January), where the scholarship holder must develop a research project at SMI in the University of Queensland, Australia.

Requirements

To be in the last year in an undergraduate from civil, environmental chemical, mining, metallurgical or geology engineering as well as science and social-science related to the mining industry.

To have a high undergraduate academic performance, with an average of no less than 5.5

Valid Passport for the duration of the scholarship

Recommendation letter from a faculty or school at UCN

Statement from the student in English which emphasizes the interest in travelling to SMI UQ substantiating the discipline the student’s summer project would be.
