Endesa Chile and its subsidiaries carry on their electricity generation activity through harmonious relationships with neighbouring communities near its facilities. To this end and according to its Social Responsibility policy, the company has developed initiatives aimed at contributing to the welfare and improvement of the quality of life of the inhabitants of the areas in which it operates. Thus, the company has achieved integration into the communities, to which it provides much more than electricity. In response to this commitment, Endesa Chile created `Energy for Education`, external Corporate Social Responsibility programme, aimed at supporting the work of educational institutions located in areas close to the company facilities areas.
