ENVIAR EMAIL

EDC cracking furnaces are used in the production of vinyl chloride monomers (VCM) when ethylene dichloride (1,2- dichloroethane) is thermally cracked at high temperatures to produce vinyl chloride and anhydrous hydrogen chloride. We have more than 50 years’ experience in the design of EDC cracking furnaces, with of the older units (1970s or older) we designed still in operation. We offer two types of heater design:

  • The traditional, yet distinctive Terrace Wall™ design

  • The radiant wall multi-burner side-fired design.
