CP® P and XNOX® W are low NOx combustion promoter additives, designed to catalytically promote CO combustion with similar efficiency as traditional platinum CO promoters, yet with a reduced propensity to generate NOx emissions. CP® P and XNOX® W additives provide swift CO afterburn response, comparable to platinum formulated promoters, yet with quicker NOx decay when dosed at high rates.

CP® P and XNOX® W additives have been utilized to support environmental compliance, balance refinery-wide NOx emissions, provide flexibility to process high nitrogen feeds and avoid issues associated with SCR installations. CP® P and XNOX® W additives also offer improvement of equilibrium catalyst disposition with the removal of platinum in the formulation.
