Volunteers Improve Pool

Thanks to the community organization, Förderverein Freibad Hilchenbach (Friends of the Outdoors) and Blue Sky Involve volunteers from Johnson Controls, Hilchenbach residents enjoy an outdoor community swimming pool with comfortably heated water.

Employee volunteers help upgrade community swimming pool heating system in Germany

  • Cleaning the roof where the upgraded system would be installed
  • Bringing materials needed for the installation up to the roof
  • Finding a company to sponsor the installation of a pipeline bridge that connected two separate roofs and performing that installation once the materials arrived
