Senior Mine Engineer

Teck is a diversified resource company committed to responsible mining and mineral development with major business units focused on copper, metallurgical coal, zinc and energy.

We are currently seeking an individual for the role of Senior Mining Engineer.

Reporting to the Chief Engineer, this role has a number of key accountabilities including the following that may span two (2) distant underground deposits:

· Responsible for the underground evacuation and emergency response plan, as required by MSHA CFR 30

· Scope and lead underground study and options assessments, including but not limited to equipment, mine plan sequencing, and alternative ore transportation methods, etc.

· Responsible for longer-range (6mo to life of mine) integrated production schedules

· Review and endorse production mining designs as well as related drill and blast designs
