Rehau begins expansion of the Viechtach production location

Viechtach. – At the start of this year, polymer specialist REHAU announced the investment of millions in the expansion of its production location in Viechtach, Lower Bavaria. Heavy equipment, diggers and large trucks on the site of plant 11 at present are a testament to the active implementation of the planned project – and particularly to its scale: the company is investing 50 million euros in the construction of a new painting line along with a new logistics hall on a total area of almost 10,000 square meters.

“With the investment, we are making a vital contribution to maintaining and expanding our position as a well-known automotive supplier with first-class painting competence,” says Markus Grundmann, Automotive board chairman at REHAU. The company is therefore securing and creating important jobs in the region.
