Trees for Pune in India

The air quality in major Indian cities is very poor. There is a huge dearth of natural catalysts – trees, considered the lungs of nature, purify the air even in highly urbanized areas. With its tree-planting initiative, REHAU supports the city of Pune’s campaign “Green Cover.” By 2013, 100 new trees are to be planted on the plant’s premises in India’s ninth largest city. The tree-planting campaign is part of the Environmental Management Program, which REHAU implemented in 2012 at the plant in Pune.
