International Reliability

Consistent material group management is at the center of our supplier management concept. Each material group comprises a lead buyer (purchasing) and a lead engineer (technology). An important supplier management tool is the REHAU Supplier Evaluation (or, in German “Lieferantenbeurteilung” = LBU©), where suppliers are assessed on equal terms based on objective commercial and technical performance characteristics. We openly communicate the results of our evaluation to our suppliers. The LBU reflects our suppliers’ capabilities and thus forms the foundation for their continued development and integration within the context of the supplier pool.
