Ports
Port infrastructure is one of the main elements of the chain of value, directly impacting nations’ GDP, as it promotes geographic connectivity and competitiveness of industries in a global market.
Today’s challenges and regulations require improved ports. There is a need to change cargo management capacities at ports, improve related logistics, increase the quality of services and specialization in this area, and develop intermodal zones and dry ports.
Over the past few years, demand for carbon reception and GNL for thermoelectric generation has increased, changing the final uses of some port terminals, requiring new construction methods, land storage systems and the transport of gaseous fuels, reduction of fugitive emissions and increased risk prevention. In light of this, our support for the integration of Engineering, Environment and Sustainability has allowed progress to be made without interrupting continuous port operations, controlling costs and reducing timeframes for the various stages of the lifecycle.
