Descripción

The saline incrustations are an undesirable by-product of secondary recovery by water injection. The injection and formation water are often incompatible under the chemical point of view, and consequently their mixture can cause the appearance of salt precipitations in the reservoir, in the well-formation interface and in the surface and subsurface equipments. Some of these incrustations, such as barium sulfate, are very insoluble and it causes significant production losses.

Objetivos

The objective of the Remote Operations 1.0 is to simulate the movement of fluids involved in descaling and acidification operations obtaining the maximum surface pressures estimation during the pumping of a certain fluid volume in a determined flow considering the weel geometry.

Beneficios

The descaling and acidification operations consist in an extreme importance work for the oil wells recovery phase and have a great impact on the well productivity.
