COBRA Technology (Tecnologias Cobra S.A.) commenced operations in Chile in September 1998. During the last nine years COBRA has developed into a world class cathode manufacturing and cathode refurbishment service provider. The scope of the operations has grown to include spare parts sales, a hydraulic workshop, on-site maintenance and service of cathode handling equipment .

Since its start, COBRA has grown to include five principle products:

• Automation Upgrades.

Cathodes fabricated by COBRA are installed in both Electrowinning and Electrorefining tank houses throughout the world. COBRA cathodes work equally well in all cathode material handling equipment supplied by any of the equipment manufacturers.
