The Alcatel-Lucent Rapport™ Service Continuity Gateway (SCG) provides service continuity across different access technologies, including GSM/UMTS, CDMA and LTE, for fixed-mobile convergence and unified communications services. As operators evolve their networks and services toward VoIP and IMS-enhanced offers, the SCG is critical for LTE deployments.
- Seamless communication capabilities regardless of subscriber location, access or device
- Support of mandatory VoLTE deployment (SRVCC and eSRVCC) and IMS centralized service features
- Field-proven carrier-grade middleware with high scalability, redundancy and OAM&P integration
- Support AdvancedTCA® blade architecture and HP BladeSystem
- Emergency Access Transfer Function (EATF) and Emergency Call – SMS notification regulatory features
- Single application for CDMA and GSM/UMTS networks, with VoIP on Wi-Fi®, WiMAX and LTE
- New capabilities, such as one-number service and mobile-to-PBX and mobile-to-PC extensions
