Clarification By Flotation

A high-speed flotation unit, Aquadaf was developed from a process created by Rictor and works at speeds unmatched by conventional flotation units. Dissolved air flotation is a particularly efficient treatment system for eliminating low-density particles pollutants.

The patented perforated floor creates a bed of bubbles one to two meters high, which accounts for the high speeds produced by this technology. When air bubbles and floc become attached through coalescence or agglomeration, the microbubbles can travel at speeds of up to 30 or 40 meters per hour.

Aquadaf is a compact product with a reduced footprint and limited height (2.5m to 4 m) and is very simple to operate due to its instant start-up and shut-down.
