Immersed Disk Fltration

Compakblue allows to reuse wastewater thanks to filter discs recommended for retaining SS and associated pollutants in tertiary filtration, particularly adapted to reuse or discharge into sensitive areas. It is implemented after a biological treatment and a secondary clarifier.

Water to be filtered passes through the filter discs that hold the solid impurities. The washing of discs is short and frequent, the filtration is continuous, without stopping during the cleaning.

We propose 2 versions of the product:

• the cloth-filtration technology, developed by Mecana Company is based on a Out/In (from exterior to interior)filtration, materials are retained by the fibers. The washing is carried out disk-by-disk with a suction system.
• the mirco-strainer technology, developed by Nordic Water Compagny is based on a In/Out (from interior to exterior) filtration: water to be filtered enters between the discs and travels through the filtering medium affixed onto the internal sides of the discs. The dirty water is collected in a chute inside the central cylinder.
