We own and license world-leading delayed coking technology, and co-own and license world-class solvent deasphalting (SDA) and visbreaking technologies. We also have our own hydrogen production, and sulfur recovery, circulating fluidized-bed boiler, scrubber and thermal waste treatment technologies.We have best-in-class expertise in not only residue upgrading technologies but also total residue conversion solutions to maximize residue upgrading liquid yields and margins. These solutions include combinations of SDA and coking that reduce residue by-product yields and increase liquid yields relative to coking, a unique form of SDA called SDA-RT that maximizes recovery of high quality deasphalted oil, and integration of coking with our circulating fluidized-bed boiler technology called PetroPowerTM that provides a refiner with a true zero residue refining solution.As well as licensing these technologies, we also design and build these plants, providing our clients with a complete ‘one-stop shop’ solution
