Terminal-mejillones

Vopak-Oxiquim Terminal Mejillones S.A. started the construction of the first phase of a new storage terminal for large volumen chemical products in Mejillones, in the Second Region of our country, join venture between Chile by Royal Vopak and Oxiquim S.A.

The Terminal, that demanded an investment of over 15 million dollars, will be located in the Bay of Mejillones, 65 kilometers from the city of Antofagasta, it will have an initial storage capability of 10 thousand cubic meters and it has a multibuoy anchoring ground.

The new installations started to operate at the end of 2010 and began as an objective to assist the growing industrial activity of the north zone of Chile.
