The characteristics of this organic fiber are its good resistance against impact and high energy absorption capacity, which make it particularly interesting for shields, such as safety jackets (ballistics) and the manufacturing of parts that must receive impacts. Their decomposition temperature is over 420°C. It is flame resistant, self-extinguishing and resistant against many chemical agents.
