Comprehensive Heritage Advisory Service, El Morro Project

Poch provided a comprehensive advisory service related to Heritage Management to the El Morro Project, from the Company Goldcorp.

El Morro is located 80 km east of the city of Vallenar, in the northern region of Atacama, at 4.000 m above sea level. The mining project is located in the mineral deposit named La Fortuna, which has mineral reserves of 6.7 million ounces of gold (base 70%) and 4.9 billion pounds of copper (base 70%). The surface area covered by the project is approximately 3,600 hectares with a considerable potential of expansion. The estimated investment for the project is 3.9 billion dollars. The site will be managed by the Canadian company Goldcorp, who is also owner of 70% of the project (the remaining 30% belongs to New Gold).
