The Challenge
REO felt that they were under loading trucks and as a result were not running at optimal capacity. They identified the need for an on-board scale to push forward. With economic challenges pushing everyone to become more efficient, Site Manager Roger Allen, felt this information was critical to optimize his site to remain competitive.
The Solution
The L-Series range of loader scales from Loadrite offer the ability to monitor and control weights around the quarry. This allows users to load trucks to maximum levels and as a result increase efficiency.
“It allows you to put the maximum load on every truck, we were not doing that before” Allen added, “We were under loading our 60 ton trucks by as much as 20 tons before we had the loader scales.”
