Technology Symposium

At Alcatel-Lucent’s 2014 Technology Symposium we announced a new company brand positioning. Our recent quarterly earnings demonstrate that we have completed the first chapter of The Shift Plan which was dedicated to refocusing the company and achieving financial stability. We are now beginning the second chapter on innovation, transformation and growth. So now is the right time for us to share our vision of the future with our customers.

One of the many things I love about our industry is its constant state of hopeful change. Dreamers dream big and innovation breeds innovation. Breakthroughs in networking and devices make our lives easier and more connected. New conveniences drive insatiable desire for more, while a host of acronyms like NFV and SDN promise to satisfy these demands. In large part, this is what Alcatel-Lucent’s Technology Symposium event is all about — the big ideas and technologies that spark the imagination and move the world.
