Alfred H Knight (AHK) is an independent market leader that specialises in the commercial analysis of metals and minerals. We have an extensive international network of laboratories and sample preparation facilities that operate throughout the Americas, Africa, Europe, Asia and Australia providing services specifically for the metal and mineral industries.

AHK also manages numerous mine-site laboratory and port service projects for major and junior mining companies, including various geochemical facilities.

Our principal commercial laboratory and sample preparation facility, which is ISO/IEC 17025:2005* and ISO 9001:2008 compliant, is located at our UK headquarters. The UK laboratory serves as a quality control centre and focal point for other laboratories within the Group. This is achieved through the general benchmarking of quality principles to our own UK standards and through continuous internal and external quality control proficiency exercises.
