The fully automated brake shoe welder
The brake shoe welder welds shoe rims to the webs. After the welding process, the parts automatically get calibrated. The calibrated shoes are then transported on a conveyor and fall into a container. The cycle time for brake shoe is about four seconds. On the same machine, several different brake shoe dimensions could be welded. A typical tool change-over time takes about 15 to 30 minutes.
