Pliers are not newcomers in Bahco product assortment – we have been manufacturing them for over 150 years, refining and improving the combination of raw materials, manufacturing processes, and the products. As all Bahco ERGO™ products, these have gone through the rigorous Bahco ERGO™ Process and thus carry the ERGO® logo.

The improved Bahco ERGO™ Side Cutting Pliers come in two different assortments; Bahco ERGO™ Side Cutting Pliers 2101 for electricians and Bahco ERGO™ Heavy Duty Side Cutting Pliers 21HD.

Both of them come with these features:

• head without sharp edges
• screw joint improving cutting accuracy
• patented on-off spring function
• mini shoulders securing the thumbs from sliding into the head without compromising accessibility
• optimal shank width for maximum force
• bimaterial handles

The Bahco ERGO™ Side Cutting Pliers 2101 for electricians have a progressive edge that cuts soft thin wire close to the tip and hard wire close to the screw. Click for a video about the 2101 series.

The Bahco ERGO™ Heavy Duty Side Cutting Pliers 21HD are equipped with an extra sturdy head that provides a strong cut all over the blade; it cuts for example a piano wire of up to 3 mm. Click for a video about the 21HD series.
