Bahco Tools at Height help stopping dropped tools from harming personnel, causing damage or disrupting work. Whenever there is a risk that a dropped tool can hurt people or damage equipment – Tools at Height can be used. The system also provides secure tool transportation to the workplace and reliable tool retention during use. The assortment consists of elastic and retractable tool lanyards, hang bags, backpacks, pouches and belts.

Drilling derricks, wind turbines, cranes, buildings, scaffolds, bridges, telecom masts, power lines, hangars, and overhead gantries are example of workplaces at heights where tools need to be safely attached. Bahco’s Tools at Height anti-drop solutions can also be used to prevent tools from falling into machinery, production lines, nuclear fuel rod cooling ponds, water filter beds, or reservoirs. Even subterranean workplaces such as underground mining shafts are areas where Tools at Height are applicable.

Tool LanyardsBahco tool lanyards are used to securely attach any tool during work at heights. Bahco elastic tool lanyards feature universal attachment for tools which do not have any integrated attachment point. Almost any tool can easily be attached by passing the tool lanyard through the loop and clinching tight with the barrel lock. The tool lanyards have all gone through rigorous static and dynamic tests, and have maximum work-load sew-in warning tags. We have five different tool lanyards to choose from. The strongest tool lanyards can carry tools up to three kilos.

Hang BagsBahco has developed hang bags especially designed to hold your tools on locations where you cannot risk a tool falling out and potentially hurt somebody. The hang bags have multiple inner compartments and are closed by a pulling string and a barrel lock. The hang bags are made from hardwearing PVC backed 600x600d polyester and are resistant to aggressive fluids and oils. The hang bags are available in two sizes and the capacity is 30 liters or 60 liters.

BackpacksAny climbing operation is safer using both hands. Bahco’s backpacks allow you to move freely without carrying your tools or your tool box with your hands. The tools are safely stored inside, without the risk of falling out and potentially hurting people or equipment. The backpacks have adjustable length shoulder straps and external compartments for easy access while in use. The backpacks are made from hardwearing 600x600d polyester and are resistant to aggressive fluids and oils. The backpacks are available in two sizes.

Pouches and BeltsPouches and belts are developed for work on scaffolds, roof tops or other heights and they all provide flexible solutions with rings and hooks to attach your tools to while working. The collection includes a universal pouch and two specific holders, one for a power drill and one for a hammer. The pouch and holders can easily be fastened on a regular belt. There is also a complete solution with a belt, two universal pouches and a smaller pocket. The pouches and belts are made from hardwearing 600x6000d polyester in order to resist any heavy duty wear and tear and are equipped with 100 daN rings where tool lanyards can be attached.
