SURFACE SHORT-TERM SCHEDULING

Mine planners use MineSched’s graphical sequencer to generate short-term schedules. By referencing the polygons used to create blast designs and/or ore control polygons, MineSched produces a detailed and realistic schedule. By using the mixed period functionality, a short-term plan can be done in weeks for the first month and then monthly for the remaining months of the year. With the flexible location functionality, it is easy to schedule ahead of any created blasts polygons by switching back to the block by block mining that the long-term planners use. MineSched also supports top down planning. Short-term mine planners can use features such as intermediate face positions generated by the long term planner to schedule within a long term plan. With MineSched, the short to long-term planning process is easy to integrate and for schedules to be created quickly.
