Sodium hydrogen sulfide (NaSH)

It is the most important reagent in the mining industry for the recovery of molybdenum. In the year 2006, before the local production of FOSFOQUIM, approximately 95% of the product used in the country was imported product creating a great dependence of the mining industry on the foreign markets.

Aware of this shortage at a local market level and of the importance of the product, FOSFOQUIM set up a plant in Talcahuano for the production NaSH, which began its production by the end of 2006.

NaSH fabricated by FOSFOQUIM is made from pure raw materials, such as Hydrogen, Sulfur and Sodium Hydroxide, unlike the imported products that are by-products or residues from other processes.
