Our crude heaters are the “work-horse" of the refinery industry and are offered in capacities ranging from 5,000 to 250,000 barrels per day, and larger.We have extensive knowledge of a full range of crude feedstocks, with many years of design experience for these types of heaters. Our design capability means that all issues are addressed and even the largest units can be designed and supplied with the maximum reliability.Optimum arrangement of the tubes within the furnaces ensures uniform heat input to each pass, avoiding thermal degradation of the heated fluid.We take particular care in the selection of the radiant tube size and arrangement (vertical or horizontal) to ensure a proper mixed phase flow pattern which, in most cases, can be the reason for coil vibration which can lead to mechanical problems.We can offer a double-fired design for the most critical applications. These advanced trouble-free designs are the product of advanced computer design programs, solidly based on over 90 years of fired heater experience.
