Steam Superheaters
Steam is one of the main process fluids used in refinery, chemical, and petrochemical plants.Since steam can be utilized as a utility medium or as process fluid, the conditions at the super-heater coil outlet are very different depending upon the final users. The pressure can range from 1,750 psig (120 Bar) for power production down to 30 psig (2 Bar) for process users, in the case of a styrene plant. Steam temperature can range widely from the 1,000°F (540°C) in case of power production up to the 1,580°F (860°C) required in some process units. To meet this wide range of process conditions, we offer different designs with various heater configurations, with greater selection of pressure parts and materials:
-
Vertical-cylindrical-fired heaters with small tubes for power production
-
Double-fired, arbor-type fired heaters for medium pressure steam with low-pressure drop available
-
Double-fired heaters with multi passes for low pressure and high outlet temperature process steam
We have wide experience in the design and supply of fired super-heaters.
