Bureau Veritas is a leader in the rice inspection market with a total of approximately 30 Million Mt inspected in the last 10 years. Bureau Veritas enjoys the trust of many traders, shippers & buyers, including Government bodies such as OCT (Tunisia), Bernas (Malaysia), Bulog (Indonesia) & NFA (Philippines).

Our experts provide inspections for predominantly milled white rice, but fragrant and basmati from Pakistan, India, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam is also inspected. Cargo and paddy rice inspections are less frequent.

Bureau Veritas are active in the main origins (India, Thailand, Vietnam, Pakistan) and each country has their own team of specialized surveyors with solid experience in the product. Our experts are able to perform grading on the field as per local export standards. Our network is also equipped with rice laboratories and offers in-house fumigation services in Thailand.
