Pneumatic Actuators :

The mechanisms that convert the compressed air energy are denominated as pneumatic actuators. Although their essence is identical to the hydraulic actuators, the compression range in this case is bigger, besides there is a small difference in their use because these have very low viscosity.In these classification appears the bellows and diaphragm that uses compressed air and also the artificial rubber muscles, which lately have received much attention.Of simple effect (NO or NC return for spring): Applied in butterfly valves, ball valves, cone valves.Of double effect: Applied in butterfly valves, ball valves, cone valves.Multi turn (optional cam buses and control 4-20mA): Applied in blade valves, gate valves and eventually in pinch valves.
