Executive volunteers her expertise and enthusiasm to help organization pursue its mission

Susan Davis, Johnson Controls executive vice president for Human Resources, is a longtime supporter of Junior Achievement. “Education is the great equalizer in life,” Davis said. “Junior Achievement’s mission is to give public school students an understanding of how our economy works and what free enterprise is all about. That’s incredibly important.”

Davis has volunteered her time and expertise to Junior Achievement of Wisconsin for the last 15 years. As a member of their board of directors, she has helped the organization think about how best to appeal to area businesses and get schoolchildren interested in its programs.

She has also helped the organization fine-tune its programs. “I became a trained Junior Achievement volunteer and worked in the schools. I gave the organization input on how its programs worked and what might be improved,” Davis said.
