AR200 / AR235 Steel Plate

AR Medium steel plate can be ordered to AR200 or AR235 depending on the producing mill’s capabilities. AR Medium is used to cover carbon-manganese steel plates in order to provide abrasion resistance that is superior to most structural-quality carbon steels.

AR Medium steel plates are intended for moderate wear applications, offering improved wear resistance over an as-rolled, structural carbon steel.

AR Medium plates are not intended for structural applications and should not be used for structural or main load-bearing members.
