Exploration overview

Our exploration programme and project pipeline are a fundamental element of our strategy. We have an pipeline of brownfield and greenfield projects in numerous locations across four countries in the Americas, as well as over one million hectares of premium geological land.

Our significant spend on exploration demonstrates our strong strategic focus on growth through exploration as well as our confidence in the considerable potential of our project pipeline.

Our exploration programme encompasses three areas; brownfield exploration, Advanced Project exploration and finally, greenfield exploration.

The brownfield exploration programmes at our core assets are concentrated on the definition of new high grade structures and the incorporation of high quality resources. We take a very conservative approach to resource delineation and are one of the few companies that applies the same cut-off grades to reserves and resources.
