Environmental Stewardship Award

In 2010, Nalco launched the Environmental Stewardship Award to recognize exceptional performance in achieving sustainability objectives and financial goals. The award targets global enterprises that set aggressive environmental commitments. In addition, it recognizes companies that go beyond measuring performance and embrace a mindset of continuous improvement to help achieve or surpass their targets by leveraging the partnerships of experts in the industry.

Nominations are reviewed by an internal Nalco selection committee, with input from a third-party agency.

Winners are selected based on the Environmental Return on Investment (eROI) achieved through better management of their natural and operation resources while reducing their environmental footprint.
