Installed on DB’s regional lines, DuoTrack® rail-mounted copper/fiber signaling-control-telecom cables were designed to cut costs and simplify installation while assuring high reliability. They have now become “Untouchables,” foiling metal theft along Germany’s railways.

Since DuoTrack® is in full view of passers-by, we wondered: was it vulnerable? a tempting target? Could it be easily damaged or stolen? Surprise! The situation is exactly the opposite. Experience has shown that this cable is at less risk than cables laid in concrete troughs.
