C-Valve Slurry Throttling Valve
- Specifically designed for slurry service.
- No metal parts in contact with the flowing slurry.
- Molded elastomer sleeve, no fabric.
- Inherent abrasion resistance of sleeve provides both high performance and long life.
- The C-Valve closes in compression, not tension, creating less stress on the sleeve, therefore the sleeve is not subject to tear propagation resulting from solid particles passing through the valve at high velocity.
- Rubber muscle constricts a full 360-degrees around the sleeve maintaining a perfectly round and concentric aperture across the full throttling range.
- Round orifice provides high capacity, straight through, unobstructed slurry flow.
- Modified linear characteristic make the valve compatible with most automatic control requirements.
- Throttling range from wide open to 50% reduction in diameter, or 75% reduction in orifice open area, up to a 90% reduction of maximum flow.
- Field-replaceable, elastomer wear parts are standard.
- Automated or manual valve actuation.
- Valve sizing and applications assistance available.
