Railway Access

In February 2003, Ventanas Port S.A. bought 50.5% of “Serie A” shares, which represents 47% of the total shares paid and subscribed by Ferrocarril del Pacífico S.A., FEPASA, the main cargo Railway Company of the country.

Ventanas Port, therefore, became the Holding Company of Fepasa, concentrating both companies’ efforts towards giving integral and efficient long term services to their clients. During July and September of the same year, Puerto Ventanas S.A. raised FEPASA’s capital stock two times, increasing its stock participation from 47% to 51, 82 of the total shares of the company.
