Industrial & Race CarsRexnord® Shafer® roller bearings provide superior performance in the active suspensions of Formula 1, Indy Car and NASCAR type race cars. The precessing feature of the roller set makes it ideal for oscillatory motion, prolonging the bearing life under extreme loading conditions, both radial and thrust. They also offer the lowest friction of any bearing.
Applications include front steering and tie rod suspension locations.
Additionally, Shafer roller bearings can provide misalignment in applications without sacrificing load handling capability.
