For nearly a decade SIMATIC WinCC flexible the proven HMI software for flexible implementation in machine- and process-oriented applications, across all industries stood for configuration efficiency. The WinCC flexible Engineering Software was used to configure SIMATIC operator devices of the x70 and x77 series from small Micro Panels to powerful Multi Panels as well as PC-based HMI with WinCC flexible Runtime SW.
When Siemens decided to open a new chapter in integrated Engineering, we did it by developing a new HMI Software based on a new Software architecture:SIMATIC WinCC (TIA Portal).
SIMATIC WinCC (TIA Portal), the successor of WinCC flexible can be used to configure nearly all SIMATIC operator devices.The functional scope comprises visualization tasks close to the machine as well as SCADA applications on PC-based multi-user systems.
