Skanska has been contracted to execute in a 12 month term the coastal installations for the Camisea Project, located 240 km south of Lima, near Pisco, Ica department. This project is the last necessary gas plant to complete the first stage of the Camisea project.

The project consisted in a Gas plant that separates the LNG (liquid natural gas) fractions from the raw material that comes from the Malvinas Gas Plant (also constructed by Skanska).

The plant is a liquid fractionating plant (including a distillation unit) that diary receives 5,000 m3 of gas liquids from the Malvinas Plant in Camisea.

Natural Gas Liquids are separated into commercial quality products such as propane, butane, naphtha and diesel.

This products are distributed into the market through vessels for its exportation (the offshore pipeline for the vessel loading was also performed by Skanska) and cisterns to supply the domestic market.
