Divers equipments used in plastic processing are often made of parts hard-faced parts to prevent their wear from the abrasive particles of plastic. Among these wear parts, there are the different components of molds, injection tips, screw conveyor and feeding of powders, etc. Depending on the wear severity, different welding filler metals might be recommended: P20-type for plastic injection molds, carbides-rich deposits for screw conveyor, etc.
