Abrasion and impact (rocks, sands and fine abrasives, mud, etc.) are the two main mechanisms of wear of parts used in excavation and transport equipments. Among these last parts, there are buckets, teeth and adapters, jaw crushers as well as hammers of all kinds. The hardfacing on worn or even new parts with the appropriate welding alloys will increase substantially their useful life and also their productivity.
