Research, R+D+I Activities

The group aims to provide a high level, innovative approaches to the solution of complex and challenging problems. The applied research give us the opportunity to offer our clients the latest ground engineering techniques, improving our designs, enabling them to solve these complexes and challenging problems.

As we said before we have a UNE 166002 system for the Research and Development projects.

In the past we collaborated in the following projects:

– Increased productivity and safety of European coalmines by advanced techniques and planning tools enabling and improved strata control of the face-roadway junction (PROSAFECOAL. RFC-PR-06002 (2007-2010)

– Prediction and Monitoring of Subsidence Hazards above Coal Mines (PRESIDENCE). RFC-PR-06301 (2007-2010)

– Geomechanics and control of soft mine floors and sides (GEOSOFT). RFCR-CT-2010-0001 (2010-2013). Cliente: Comisión Europea. DG XII.
