On of the most important drilling works performed by the Company was that allowing rescuing alive the 33 miners trapped at Mina San José on August 22, 2010 at 6 am. At 688 meters, the “Esperanza" (“Hope”) drill reached the shelter, which made contact with miners possible and their later rescue.

In the last years, Terraservice’s sales have increased at a rate of 25% by year, which is consistent with the policy of investments in machinery, equipment and training of technical staff.

To date, we have drilled over 2.5 million meters with reverse air and over 430,000 meters with diamond drillers, thus becoming one of the top five drilling companies in the country.

Our company has been able to drill deep shafts with the reverse air system, holding the world record of 828 meters with Schramm machines.
