GA Industries was founded in 1895 and originally manufactured valves for boiler works and railroads. With this know-how, the company entered the growing water and wastewater market in the 1950s and this is the company’s main business today.
In 1995, GA Industries merged with Rodney Hunt. In 2008, both companies were acquired by Rexnord, and in 2009 Fontaine Industries was added to the family of companies. Today, all companies belong to the VAG-Group (Valve and Gate Group).
